Recognizing tachycardia, heart rhythm disorder disease

Tachycardia is one of the causes of death due to heart rhythm disorders. Identify and beware, so that the disease does not attack you.

Heart pounding with no obvious cause? Do not hurry to think that you are in love. The heart-pounding without cause can also be a sign of the disease tachycardia.

You need to know, the normal human heartbeat is in the range of 60 to 100 times per minute at rest. Well, in patients with tachycardia, the heartbeat when the sufferer breaks can be more than the range.

Introduction to Heart Tachycardia type

Tachycardia is classified according to the origin and cause of cardiac abnormalities. The types of tachycardia are commonly encountered, namely:

  • Atrial fibrillation

Atrial fibrillation is a rapid heartbeat caused by the stimulation of irregular electrical impulses in the upper chamber of the Heart (atria). This is the most commonly discovered condition of tachycardia.

Some of the things that can cause atrial fibrillation are impaired heart valves, hyperthyroidism or heavy alcohol use. This condition can be temporary or permanent, depending on the treatment and lifestyle of the patient.

  • Atrial Flutter

At the atrial flutter, the heart's atrium chamber beats very fast. Heart rate abnormalities due to this condition occur regularly, resulting in a weak atrial contraction.

Atrial flutter is caused by irregular electrical circuits inside the atrium. This condition can heal by itself or require the treatment of a skilled physician.

  • Ventricular tachycardia

Ventricular tachycardia is a rapid heartbeat that occurs due to abnormal electrical signals in the lower heart (ventricular) space. The rapid heartbeat does not allow the ventricular filling and contracting efficiently to pump enough blood throughout the body.

In certain circumstances, a ventricular tachycardia attack can occur briefly and lasts a few seconds without causing damage. However, long-lasting attacks can lead to life-threatening emergency conditions.

  • Ventricular fibrillation

Ventricular fibrillation is a condition that occurs when rapid and irregular electrical impulses cause the ventricle to vibrate ineffectively. This condition can occur during or after a person has a heart attack.

In ventricular fibrillation, the heart cannot pump blood, but it only vibrates irregularly. This can be fatal because it can cause damage to vital organs when not immediately treated.

Tachycardia is a heart disorder that can be life-threatening when left without treatment. Therefore, regardless of the type of tachycardia experienced, sufferers must immediately have medication to the doctor to get the most appropriate treatment.

Don't forget to change the lifestyle to be healthier again. Also, keep your weight ideal, avoid cigarettes, control blood pressure and cholesterol by managing your daily diet.

If you experience a pounding cardiac complaint with no cause, tightness and chest pains, immediately consult a doctor. It may be an early symptom of tachycardia that must be addressed immediately. Don't consider it trivial, because this heart disorder can be very life-threatening.
